We welcome patients in every age range. Children should begin seeing a dentist regularly when they are about two years old. By learning good oral habits and helping to teach them to your child, you can help prevent tooth decay and give them a head start on a lifetime of good dental health.
You can help by making sure your child's teeth are brushed and flossed regularly, using flouride toothpaste once they are old enough to refrain from swallowing it.
Curtailing snacks, especially sweet or starchy foods, will help prevent tooth decay. Babies should not sleep with a bottle, as milk, formula, or juice has a tendency to pool in their mouths and cause decay.
